About Home Growing

Having had mixed success growing in our own gardens trying to navigate complicated advice and garden jargon, finding reliable and productive seed varieties, choosing incorrect sizes of pots and little to no knowledge of plant nutrition, it was time to get serious! After lots of trial and error, we found the best way to succeed is to keep it simple. Good quality, peat free compost, a warm sunny spot, a small starter pot, the right amount of water and a little love and attention.

Our small team love all things green and want you to succeed in growing your own tasty veg to enjoy, saving you money and making you and the planet happy!

Another thing we are passionate about are the little bugs and bees that keep our planet turning, the often unsung heroes that need all the help they can get. That’s why we not only offer grow your own veg and herb kits but also bee, butterfly and other insect friendly flower growing kits.

We hope you love growing our seed kits as much as we enjoy putting them together and sharing the joy of growing all things green. We would love to see your progress so please, feel free to share your growing journey with us on our Home Growing page on Facebook.

Happy growing!
